The Friday photo – Old-fashioned signage in Cuba

To finish every week travel-inspired, I tell you every Friday about one of the photos of my blog’s header.

Today, I’ve selected a photo taken a few weeks ago in the streets of Havana, Cuba. It shows the back of a truck that indicates where it is safe to overtake or not.

The hand painted signs at the back of trucks reminded me of India, but it’s not just that: virtually everything in Cuba is hand painted. On reflection, in 16 days Cuba, I have seen so little plastic that I almost feels good!
