Travel theme: Tiny hotel rooms in Paris

This week, Ailsa‘s photo challenge theme is Tiny.

In many European cities, if you wish not to exceed a hundred euro fare for your overnight stay, it is remarkable how tiny your hotel rooms can be.

Forget about the Kingsize; single rooms come with a single bed. And a window. And that’s often it. If you are lucky, you even have a piece of floor; but not always.

One day, I stayed in a tiny hotel room in London, where the room itself was hardly larger than the bed – I ended up sharing my bed with my suitcase!

Earlier this year, I stayed in a good old-fashioned hotel in Paris. The room was pleasant, but tiny. And the central heating was, too.

I suppose that it would have been too hot in the room with a full radiator, so they had the smart idea to install just a tiny one!
