I propose to start every new week with a song that takes us somewhere in the world.
For this week, I have selected a surprising song, mix of Russian folk and drumnass, by Нейромонах Феофан (Neuromonk Theofan).
I discovered this Russian artist this weekend in a blog post about positive klyukvification that has left me a little bit puzzled. Neuromonk Feofan’s lyrics typically talk about the Russian stereotypes (some of which I evoked earlier in the context of Siberia like the forest, the bears) but in a sort of medieval style, with an enthusiastic invitation to dance and on drumnbass rhythms.
I haven’t quite understood what this is and would appreciate to hear opinions!
Have a great week!
